Besichtigungspunkt war heute Morgen der <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Plaza_Mayor_(Madrid)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plaza Mayor.<\/a><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Der Plaza Mayor ist ein kulturelles Herzst\u00fcck der spanischen Hauptstadt. Urspr\u00fcnglich im 16. Jahrhundert erbaut, hat der Plaza Mayor im Laufe der Jahrhunderte zahlreiche historische Ereignisse und gesellschaftliche Ver\u00e4nderungen miterlebt. Umgeben von charakteristischen roten Backsteingeb\u00e4uden mit den charakteristischen Balkonen, ist der Platz ein lebendiges Zentrum voller Aktivit\u00e4ten.&nbsp;<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Die historisch bedeutenden Geb\u00e4ude k\u00f6nnen eine reiche Geschichte erz\u00e4hlen.<\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Casa de la Panader\u00eda: Dieses Geb\u00e4ude ist das wohl \u00e4lteste am Platz und diente urspr\u00fcnglich als B\u00e4ckerei. Es wurde nach einem Brand im Jahr 1631 wieder aufgebaut und ist f\u00fcr seine beeindruckenden Fresken bekannt.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Casa de la Carnicer\u00eda: Gegen\u00fcber der Casa de la Panader\u00eda befindet sich dieses Geb\u00e4ude, das einst als Fleischerei diente. Es steht f\u00fcr die kommerzielle Vergangenheit des Platzes.<\/span><\/li>\n<li><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Arco de Cuchilleros: Der bekannteste Zugang zum Platz, der \u201eBogen der Messerschleifer\u201c, befindet sich an der s\u00fcdwestlichen Ecke und ist nach der Zunft benannt, die in der N\u00e4he ihre Werkst\u00e4tten hatte.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Als wir den <a href=\"https:\/\/de.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Plaza_Mayor_(Madrid)\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Plaza Major betraten<\/a>, umfing uns sofort das pulsierende Leben und der geschichtliche Der Platz befindet sich im Herzen der Altstadt von Madrid und ist von bedeutenden historischen Geb\u00e4uden umgeben. Er war ein herausragender Admiral der spanischen Marine, bekannt f\u00fcr seine strategischen F\u00e4higkeiten, insbesondere w\u00e4hrend der Schlacht von Lepanto im Jahr 1571. Um seinem Andenken gerecht zu werden, wurde die Statue am 19. Vorbei an der sehr stark frequentierten Markthalle, gingen wir durch die gut aufgeheizten H\u00e4userschluchten von Madrid. Beim Gang \u00fcber den <a href=\"https:\/\/www.esmadrid.com\/de\/touristeninformation\/puerta-del-sol\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Puerto del Sol<\/a> konnten wir <a href=\"https:\/\/wernerdeck.de\/blog\/2024\/03\/24\/beliebte-touristenfalle-in-madrid-glueck-bringender-rosmarinzweig-betrugsmasche-meist-aelterer-sintifrauen\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">zwei Betr\u00fcgerinnen mit Rosmarinzweigen beobachten. K\u00f6nigspalasts in Madrid, bekannt als Palacio Real, reicht bis ins 9. Jahrhundert zur\u00fcck. Urspr\u00fcnglich stand an dieser Stelle eine maurische Festung, die von Emir Muhammad I. erbaut wurde. Diese Festung wurde im Laufe der Jahrhunderte zur Residenz der spanischen K\u00f6nige, insbesondere nach der Eroberung Madrids durch Alfonso VI. im Jahr 1083.<\/p>\n<p>Im Jahr 1734 wurde der alte Alc\u00e1zar, der die k\u00f6nigliche Residenz war, durch ein verheerendes Feuer zerst\u00f6rt. K\u00f6nig Philipp V. beauftragte daraufhin den Bau des heutigen Palastes, dessen Errichtung von 1738 bis 1764 dauerte. Der Palast wurde im Barockstil erbaut und ist einer der gr\u00f6\u00dften k\u00f6niglichen Pal\u00e4ste in Europa, mit 3.418 R\u00e4umen und einer Gesamtfl\u00e4che von etwa 135.000 Quadratmetern.<\/p>\n<p>Obwohl der K\u00f6nigspalast die offizielle Residenz der spanischen Monarchie ist, wohnt die k\u00f6nigliche Familie heute im Zarzuela-Palast. Der Palacio Real wird haupts\u00e4chlich f\u00fcr Staatszeremonien und offizielle Anl\u00e4sse genutzt.<\/p>\n<p>\n<div class=\"ngg-galleryoverview ngg-template-caption\" Almudena-Kathedrale (Catedral de la Almudena) in Madrid hat eine lange und komplexe Geschichte. Erste Pl\u00e4ne f\u00fcr den Bau einer Kirche, die der <a href=\"https:\/\/opusdei.org\/de-de\/article\/der-hl-josefmaria-und-unsere-liebe-frau-der-almudena-zitadelle\/\">Heiligen Maria von der Almudena<\/a> gewidmet ist, entstanden im 16. Jahrhundert. Der tats\u00e4chliche Bau begann jedoch erst 1883 und zog sich bis 1993 hin, als die Kathedrale von Papst Johannes Paul II. geweiht wurde. Sie ist die erste Kathedrale au\u00dferhalb Roms, die geweiht wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Die Architektur der Kathedrale vereint verschiedene Stile: W\u00e4hrend der Bau urspr\u00fcnglich im neugotischen Stil begann, wurde er schlie\u00dflich im Neoklassizismus vollendet, um harmonisch mit dem nahegelegenen K\u00f6nigspalast zu wirken. Das Innere zeigt moderne Elemente, darunter ein \u201ePop-Art\u201c-Dekor, das vom Ikonenmaler Kiko Arg\u00fcello gestaltet wurde.<\/p>\n<p>Die Kathedrale ist auch f\u00fcr ihre Rolle in der spanischen Monarchie bekannt, insbesondere durch die Hochzeit von Kronprinz Felipe und Letizia Ortiz im Jahr 2004, die die erste k\u00f6nigliche Trauung in der Kathedrale war.<\/p>\n<p>\n<div Dabei hielten wir Ausschau nach einem schattigen Pl\u00e4tzchen, wo wir in Ruhe noch eine kleine Wegzehrung zu uns nehmen konnten. ruhten wir uns im Hotel etwas aus. Hier waren wir schon an unseren Ankunftstag und waren sehr zufrieden.
